It all started one hot July afternoon when Emma and Elle met up for coffee. They were chatting about topics of the week and Emma was sharing her experience as both a sex worker and a social worker.

Emma spoke about past experiences of seeking counseling: judgment, shame, and flat out oppression from the healthcare system.

​

Elle, long-time therapist for sex workers, agreed- nodding her head as she thought of the countless stories from clients. Stories of trying to find good mental healthcare when they most needed it, only to be shamed and blamed for their problems because of their job.

​

And then... an idea was born.

​

What if Emma and Elle created what they saw such a need for? A safe space for sex workers to come together, get support for what they needed, and also find their own personal path to growth, abundance, and success.

​

And Healing for Heauxs was born.

​

A monthly, free (or donation) support group designed to support all sex workers as they not only cope with the shitty parts of life (work-related or not!) but also lay the groundwork for building the life they want to live.

​

This group is built around a need for community, collective care, and creative self-expression.

It's a non-judgmental and private space to just be.
