I LOVE talk therapy, but I also LOVE movement therapy.

Working with Elle is a true delight! She has helped me feel more connected to my body and able to ask my body what she is needing.
I’ve also learned from Elle to embrace movement for the sake of it feeling good and not as a punishment or means of performing or becoming smaller. Elle challenges me to think about movement in a different way than anyone else has ever portrayed it.
She is truly one of a kind! I love to come to her class and just flow and vibe to the feelings and emotions my body is wanting to express, and Elle creates the safe environment to do that.

When I started, I was trying to recover from an eating disorder that had wrecked my sense of self.
Elle has a masterful way of helping her students get comfortable in their bodies and grounded in movement.
Through her encouragement and support, I have been able to embrace my recovery, my new stronger physique and get back in touch with the sensuality I had cut myself off from.
Elle is compassionate and PASSIONATE in equal measure.

Dancing with Elle feels like coming back home to my body. In her classes, I am challenged to thoughtfully engage with movement and provided with space and questions that help me to ground my practice in a way that feels sustainable.
One of my favorite things about classes with Elle is that she cultivates her curriculum to essentially be led by us, the students. As a teacher, I think that is a deeply undervalued skill. The encouragement and praise that she gives out comes when she sees us actually moving from somewhere inside of ourselves, not for the mirror or the camera or the audience, or even for her. For me, this leads to a much deeper connection to my "why" when I'm dancing.
I sign up almost every time I see Elle on the schedule and I encourage everyone that I dance with to sign up as well!
