Hi, Brianna! Welcome to the blog. First up: Who are you and what do you do?

Bonjour- my name is Brianna and I'm a lifestyle/women's empowerment photographer. I like to call myself an empowerment witch- making magic happen in the swamps of the South through my artistry.

What does women's empowerment mean to you?

To me this is an open ended question. I feel women's empowerment can truly mean whatever you need it to mean. Inclusivity - self love - body positivity - sisterhood.

Does someone have to identify as female to book a photo shoot? (i.e. can men or people who identify as non-binary book?)

I love this question so much! Although I have catered to hundreds of women seeking support on their journey to self discovery, I am a firm believer that self love is a non-gendered topic. I am a proud ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and use my platform to advocate for all genders and sexual orientations to take the self love leap. I have also worked with many couples and encourage the men in the room to do a session for themselves to further their journey.

How can photography help people feel empowered in their bodies?

Over the years I've been super-privileged to listen to stories of countless women wanting to feel as beautiful as I see their shell is. I learned that, through photography, I am able to assist in the blossoming of confidence, acceptance , and embracing of their soul.

What is one thing you wish people knew about boudoir photo shoots?

One thing I wish society knew about boudoir sessions is the body empowerment view of the experience as opposed to selling sex. Boudoir is glamorized as a sexual experience however it truly has so much more depth. I am here to make people feel good and show their beauty! Nothing is more special than that.
